R.C. Sproul (Deceased) – $2 Million
R.C. Sproul was a prominent figure in the realm of Christian theology. As the founder and chairman of Ligonier Ministries, he dedicated his life to disseminating Reformed Christian theology teachings. Further augmenting his influence in the Christian community was his involvement with the satellite radio program “Renewing Your Mind.” Many regard Sproul as the paramount voice in the resurgence of Reformed theology in recent history, even dubbing him as “the greatest and most influential proponent of the recovery of Reformed theology in the last century.” Tragically, in 2017, Sproul’s life was cut short due to a respiratory infection, which was further complicated by the effects of his years of cigarette smoking.
